District Directors,
We stand on the cusp of 2012 and all the things God has prepared us to enter. I love Christmas because we celebrate Christ’s birth and anticipate His presence and help in a new year. It’s so fun!
Following Jesus is always adventurous. A phrase in Joshua 3:4 has struck a deep cord with me. As they prepared to enter the Promised Land, God told Joshua, “You have never been this way before.” As we plan to celebrate our 50th anniversary next year, God is filling me with “prepared anticipation” for the new heights He intends to take us as we follow Him with grateful hearts and bent knees.
Men, the ministry improvements of the last years are nearly complete and God is going to take us places we have never been. I’m excited! I pray you have a joyous Christmas season and that you look forward in faith to the never-been-to-places that God has prepared us for.

Those who register before the end of December will enjoy the early bird conference rate and receive a collectors’ gift at onsite registration. Camporama registration is now open at nationalcamporama.com! There are only 214 days left before Camporama begins at Camp Eagle Rock on July 9-13, 2012. Encourage your outposts, leaders, and boys/young men to get registered for the ultimate guy’s event! They will not want to miss all of the exciting things we have planned as we celebrate our 50th anniversary.
Get registered HERE! And please, make it your district’s goal to double your best attended Camporama. What a statement that will send your district and our movement!

Also note that you will receive a monthly registration report from Convention Services to help you in your planning. As you all know, one of the big reasons we created TRaCclub in electronic form was to keep the curriculum current and relevant. The most recent updates are the orange Bible merits. The first three have been released: 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, and 1 Kings. More improvements are coming soon.
CHARTERING
Charting benefits expired October 31. But it’s not too late for outposts to charter online if they have not done so already. Please make personal contact with outposts that have not chartered and remind them of the amazing benefits. A 15% discount on products and events more than pays for itself, especially with Camporama quickly approaching, which will save each attendee $49.00.

RRI / BGMC PHEASANT HUNT RALLY – CHANGE FOR THE WORLD
Royal Rangers and BGMC are hosting a pheasant hunt on March 17, 2012, near Dallas, TX, at the conclusion of our national LEAD conference. It is FREE of charge to the district director or his designee if your district makes a faith promise of $3000 or more for 2012; with a faith promise of $4000 or more, the district director and one additional member of his team can attend. All giving will benefit Master’s Toolbox.

Date: March 17, 2012; 12:30-8:30 pm (and includes a prime rib steak dinner)
Bring:
Texas small game hunting permit, available here
12- or 20-gauge shotgun (If flying, you will need to use and check a lockable gun case. See specifications from your air carrier.)
Ammo will be provided at no cost.
Gun Rental: A limited number of 12- and 20-guage shotguns are available to rent from WB Ranch for $50/each. If you wish to rent a gun, contact WB Ranch no later than one week prior to the event and provide your payment information.
